Frank Loera is an accomplished professional with a rich and varied background spanning communications, education, and public safety. Originally from Arizona, Loera began his career as a police officer with the City of Phoenix before transitioning to the field of communications as an Engineer and Construction Manager at Cox Communications. His passion for education led him to teaching, where he served as a dual credit instructor for Northland Pioneer College in Arizona, specializing in secondary Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.

In 2012, Loera relocated to New Mexico and took on several key roles in education and public safety. He served as the Director of Public Safety at St. John’s College in Santa Fe, and later became the Chair of the Business and Applied Technology Division/Workforce Education at the University of New Mexico, Gallup. Loera also held the position of Chair of Technical Trades at Northern New Mexico College (NNMC).

Currently, Frank Loera is the Director of Career and Technical Education at NNMC, where he is dedicated to advancing CTE programs and fostering students' career readiness and professional development.
